The Ministry of Housing announced on Wednesday the completion of more than 30% of the Lulwa Al Diar project, the latest housing project of "sakani" in partnership with the private sector in Yanbu, Medina province, and provides 1,182 housing units of type of townhouse.
The ministry said in a press statement that 367 housing units have been completed just 10 days after the announcement of the booking commencement in the project, which includes 1182 townhouses, in different sizes and designs, with prices starting at 508 thousand riyals. The exhibition is located on the Ministry's land north of Yanbu Al-Bahr and less than one kilometer from the city's Corniche.
The Lulwa Al Diar project is strategically located, in addition to the integration of infrastructure according to the highest standards of roads, pavements, lighting, green spaces and public facilities, as well as the provision of a grand mosque, three mosques, and the allocation of sites for health and service facilities, shopping centers and 14 sites for green spaces, gardens and children's playgrounds. The project provides 5 designs and models for the housing units, to meet the needs of all the beneficiaries of housing subsidy in the province. It also provides comprehensive guarantees for all materials used and the structure of construction up to 20 years.
The Ministry of Housing recently announced the launch of several housing projects in various regions of the Kingdom, including four in Medina. In addition to the Lulwa Al-Diar, three other projects were announced, one of which is in the city of Yanbu "Rawasin Yanbu" which have been completed its booking last month and its provides more than 660 housing units ranging between apartment and townhouses. The Ministry also announced yesterday the completion of the two ministry projects in Medina "Durrat Al Madina" and "bawwabat taiba", which includes about 1200 housing units in strategic locations in the city and a mile away from the Prophet's Mosque.
Last week, the ministry announced seven new projects in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Region, providing more than 13,000 housing units. This coincides with the continuation of booking procedure in a number of projects, in addition to the continuation of the ministry represented by the "sakani" program of handing out ready housing units in a number of projects like Thadig, Rimah, Al-Uyayna, Al-Dawadmi, Arar, Al-Khobar, Al-Mubarraz, Al-Qunfudah, Sabya and Bisha.
According to the Ministry's data, the total number of projects announced through the "sakani" program reaches 70 projects, including 50 in partnership with the private sector represented by qualified real estate developers, in addition to 20 projects for ready-made housing units. The projects are distributed throughout the Kingdom, aiming to allocate 300 thousand residential and financing products during the 2018 year, including 125 thousand housing units under construction "off-plan sales" in partnership with the private sector.
