The Ministry of Housing announced the completion of 40% of the project "Retaj Mecca" which was launched last month within "sakani" projects and is located in the neighborhood of Nawariyah in the northern entrance to the Holy Capital, stressing that the third phase of the project will be launched after Eid al-Fitr, holiday, when the second booking phase of the project are close to completion.

The ministry explained that the total number of bookings in the "Retaj Mecca" housing project amounted to about 900 housing units of the projects total units, which is 4500 housing units ranging from villas and apartments, stating that by the close of business on Thursday approached the second phase of the project with the total of 2000 housing units to completion, and will be the third phase of it after returning to work after Eid al-Fitr holiday directly.

The Ministry of Housing launched "Retaj Mecca" project in a series of sakani projects launched by the Ministry of Housing during the last period, which aims to inject thousands of housing units in various regions of the Kingdom, to meet the aspirations of beneficiaries of housing subsidy and provide a variety of options in terms of designs and models as well as areas and prices, as it confirmed the continuation of injecting more units during the coming period in various regions of the Kingdom.

The project coincides with the Ministry's launch of 13 housing units under construction "off-plan sales "during the past two months in a number of cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Medina, Yanbu, Dammam and Khobar. More than 25,000 housing units of type of Villas and apartments and the Town House at prices ranging from 250 to 750 thousand, and the Ministry recently announced the completion of bookings for a number of these projects in Medina, Riyadh with  a large demand for the rest of the projects, where the booking rates exceeded most of the 50 percent.

It is noteworthy that "Retaj Mecca" project is located in an area of 1.3 million square meters and is characterized by its strategic location in the neighborhood of Nuwariyah on the northern entrance of the Holy Capital and comes in partnership between the Ministry of Housing and the private sector. It also characterized by the occurrence within the urban scope and contains units on 3 mosques, grand mosques, 5 Schools, 7 kindergartens and children's playgrounds, and several shopping centers. Several sites have been allocated to government agencies including 4 sites for educational, health and security facilities. The project includes various options in terms of spaces, designs and prices. Starting from 419.773 riyals.
